The WRP Thespian Scholarship

The WRP Thespian Scholarship was established by WRP to provide the opportunity for committed young individuals, who otherwise would be financial incapable of participating, to join, contribute, and learn in our youth program.

Decisions on scholarship applications are made by the board of directors and take into consideration both the student's financial need, their desire to be in the WRP program, and their commitment to learning. Applicants must submit in writing a letter of desire (written by the student), a letter of recommendation from their classroom teacher or music teacher attesting to their work habits or suitability for the program, and a copy of their acceptance into their school reduced or free lunch program (or other comparable statement of financial need). All materials should be mailed to WRP with a completed registration form, at least 1 month prior to the start of the desired program.
